Ponderosa Pines – New Brunswick
Ponderosa Pines is the closest campground to Hopewell Rocks and is a great base camp to explore Fundy National Park.
If you’re after amazing views and a quiet night’s sleep, this is the right spot!
Mactaquac Provincial Park – New Brunswick
Open all year, Mactaquac Provincial Park is a 1,300-acre outdoor playground along the beautiful Saint John River. Nestled in vast woodlands, it’s packed with tons of outdoor activities, winding hiking trails, and a calm beaver pond nature reserve.
During the winter, you can enjoy skating on the frozen duck pond or along the forest skating trail. Rental equipment is available for activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking.
River Country Campground – New Brunswick
River Country Campground is a piece of paradise nestled along the beautiful Saint John River. This charming campground is built around quality and family fun.
Norse Cove Seaside Camping – Nova Scotia

Green Point Campground – Newfoundland and Labrador
Green Point Campground is a coastal escape located in the Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems.
Spend the day exploring the banks of the Coastal Trail and take in the sunset in the stunted, wind-swept trees locally called “tuckamore”. Wrap up the day by stargazing, Gros Morne offers some of the darkest skies in Newfoundland and Labrador, and then let the rhythmic sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep.
Ontario Winter Campgrounds
Ontario’s diverse landscapes, from snow-covered forests to frozen lakes, provide a stunning backdrop for winter camping. Parks like Algonquin, MacGregor Point, and Arrowhead offer picturesque views and plenty of outdoor activities.
Algonquin Provincial Park – Mew Lake Campground
Mew Lake Campground has over 100 campsites, many of which are located in a White Pine forest. This campgrouond is located within Algonquin Provincial Park, established in 1893, it is one of the oldest and largest provincial parks in the country.
The park and campground is a haven for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers due to its variety of winter activities such as hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. In addition, thanks to limited light pollution, stargazing is incredible, especially in the winter!
Arrowhead Provincial Park
Arrowhead Provincial Park offers camping in three campgrounds: Roe, East River and Lumby. These campgrounds offer large, treed and private campsites in the heart of Muskoka.
This beautiful, natural oasis is well-known for winter activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice-skating.
Silent Lake Provincial Park
In the winter, Silent Lake Provincial Park offers car accessible, plowed, electric campsites on a reservable and first-come, first-served basis.
Silent Lake is surrounded by dense forests of mixed hardwoods and conifers, offering picturesque views throughout the year. The park transforms into a winter wonderland with many activities. It is also home of the most popular GeoTour in Canada!
MacGregor Point Provincial Park
MacGregor Point Provincial Park, located on the shores of Lake Huron, transforms into a winter wonderland during the colder months. This park is known as one of the most ecologically diverse natural places along the Lake Huron shoreline.
Winter visitors can snowshoe, cross-country ski, and ice skate on a 400 metre skating oval (weather permitting).
Quebec Winter Campgrounds

CAMPING DOMAINE DES ÉRALES LAC BRÔME INC.
Camping Domaine des Érables is located on the shores of the renowned Brome Lake. Brome Lake offers stunning winter vistas, with snow-covered hills and frosted trees creating a magical landscape. The contrast of the white snow against the blue water of the lake is particularly striking.
Take your Karma Campervan to nearby villages, such as Knowlton and Brome, known for their quaint architecture and warm hospitality. In winter, these villages often feature charming decorations, cozy cafés, and local shops where visitors can enjoy a warm drink and shop for unique gifts.
CAMPING LAC-MORIN
Camping Lac Morin, located just a few minutes from downtown Trois-Rivières, is the perfect destination for visitors looking to experience Quebec’s culture, history, and natural beauty. Trois-Rivières is a vibrant city situated along the St. Lawrence River. Founded in 1634, Trois-Rivières is one of the oldest cities in North America.
The campground’s location makes it a great base for exploring other nearby attractions in the Eastern Townships and Mauricie region, including parks, historical sites, and outdoor adventure activities.
CAMPING DE LA DIABLE
Located in the heart of the Laurentians, Camping de la Diable offers sites along the Rivière de la Diable. Within the Laurentians, is the Mont-Tremblant region, which offers a diverse range of winter activities and attractions. This campground provides a great home base for the popular year-round destination, especially in winter when it transforms into a snowy wonderland.
